Six fledgling high school students get lost at sea on a sailboat. During their unexpected journey, they encounter everything the menacing sea can throw at them, including modern-day pirates. Despite their many differences, these kids must band together to save one another. Deeper and more lasting relationships are formed between starkly conflicting personalities, as all are forced to grow up more quickly than they had ever imagined.
